What is Dye sublimation printing?
Ink is printed directly onto the fabric using specialist ink, paper and heat. It is then cut and sewn together to make the garment.
The ink dyes the fabric and becomes part of the material – you can’t feel any ink on the fabric and it remain soft and flexible.
Why?
Because the ink is part of the material. There isn’t by a thick layer of ink as in screen printing when the ink lies on the fabric’s surface. So nothing is blocking the material and it can still perform its wicking duties.
